Wondering where to eat in Yachats, Oregon? Look no further! I fell in love with Yachats during our first visit in 2015 and we’ve loved exploring the area every year since! In fact, I’ve loved it so much that I hope to retire there one day. Until that time, I’m just eating my way around Yachats and enjoying everything the coast has to offer. Read on for our list of the best restaurants in Yachats Oregon. I promise I’ll help you find a great restaurant besides Luna Sea Fish House!

Best Restaurants in Yachats Oregon

Luna Sea Fish House

Ok, so I meant it when I said I was going to help you find great places to eat in Yachats that aren’t Luna Sea Fish House. But you should eat there first! It’s so perfect. The fried fish – amazing. The ambiance – spot on. The chill picnic table set up – perfection for families. My favorite is the fish and chips but my father law swears that the chowder is the best thing on the menu. Not a fan of fish? Don’t worry, the Luna Sea Fish House has burgers as well which are a huge hit with my kids.

Luna Sea Fish House is the perfect place to go when you are already hungry and want somewhere casual to eat.

Green Salmon Coffee

I love this little hippy coffee shop! They’ve got great bagel sandwiches, every specialty coffee you could want, and a ton of vibes. The Green Salmon is perfect for a casual breakfast eaten in or taken for a picnic on the beach. Be warned, the line can get pretty long for food and coffee so make sure you show up hungry and patient!

If it’s of interest, you can CBD to your coffee or tea orders.

Bread & Roses Bakery

This is important. Get to Bread & Roses Bakery early. I repeat, arrive to Bread & Roses Bakery early. Is Bread & Roses one of the best restaurants in Yachats Oregon? Absolutely, and the line out the door knows it! You want to arrive early to make sure you have your choice of delicious baked goods. We love to grab a combination of sweet and savory. We’ll get some savory egg based sandwiches for now, cinnamon rolls the size of our head for later, and loaves of bread to snack on throughout the day.

Our favorite thing is to grab some baked goods from Bread & Roses and head to the playground in Yachats for some swings and snacks.

Ona Restaurant & Lounge

This is the place to go if you are looking for a fancier dinner in Yachats, Oregon or to impress guests! The views from Ona are absolutely stunning, you have a perfect view of the beach during sunset. That would be reason enough to eat at Ona, thankfully the food is great too! Specializing in seafood, there are a few options for non-seafood eaters like a Wagyu burger.

If you are traveling with kids, I recommend skipping this one or splitting up. I found it a bit too pricey and upscale for young children so I typically send my husband and guests and have him bring me dinner back. The crab cakes are my absolute favorite!

Beach Street Kitchen

Another restaurant with an amazing view of the ocean! Also another place with cinnamon rolls the size of your head. There should be some kind of rating system that rates cities by their density of cinnamon roll restaurants. I swear to you Yachats would come out on top!

Open for breakfast and lunch, Beach Street Kitchen has something to please everyone. If cinnamon rolls aren’t your thing (confusing), you’ll love the breakfast tacos or chicken caesar salad wrap for lunch. My personal favorite is the baked french toast which I love to pair with a mimosa.

Bonus: Yachats Brewery

Sadly, this restaurant is no more. It was our absolute favorite and I was crushed to learn it had been replace by a chain. The horror! If you had heard of this Yachats landmark and were hoping to try it, I’m seriously sorry. It was fantastic! I have such fond memories of drinking beer flights there with my husband while my in laws watched my kids, or the time my daughter puked on one of their tables (that one is maybe not so good), or the time they had me sweep up my kids’ crazy mess (ok, actually maybe I hate this place and am glad it closed – ha!). According to the internet rabbit hole I fell down, the building never had the correct permits which is why it shut down.

Looking for more than just Restaurants?

I am not kidding you when I say we are absolutely obsessed with Yachats, Oregon. I describe it as the place where my soul feels happiest! My old millennial bones feels happiest when they are resting at the Overleaf Lodge. It’s your perfect homebase in Yachats, I promise! It’s a great jumping off place for secret beaches and tide pooling.

Is it just me or are you feeling crazy hungry after reading this list of the best restaurants in Yachats Oregon?
